There are different types of data in the report
PageSpeed Insights combines Lighthouse diagnostics with available CrUX user experience data. Field data covers the previous 28-day period. The Lighthouse test is a simulated measurement of a specific address.
Source: Google: PageSpeed Insights description ↗
Check whether the user result applies to a given URL or to the entire origin. Data from a broader group do not confirm that each subpage is of identical quality. If there is not a sufficient sample, the report should not replace it with a contrived assessment.
Write down the comparison conditions
Compare the same device, address and similar conditions. The phone and computer test can give different results without contradiction. Individual measurements may vary due to server operation and external resources.
When analyzing before and after the change, record the date, configuration and implementation performed. Repeat the measurement if the result is unusual, but do not just select the best reading to present to the client.
Choose a task with a clear impact
The list of suggestions requires interpretation. A large image at the top of the page, a long script job, and unused code don't always have the same impact on the viewer. Determine whether the problem is common to the template or occurs on a single address.
If the main photo is downloaded in a resolution suitable for printing on a small screen, prepare appropriate variants and check the quality and LCP. Only after confirming the effect, extend the change to other templates.
Don't confuse the result with a full audit
The Lighthouse SEO category includes specific technical checks. It does not evaluate the entire strategy, the competitiveness of the offer or all the content. The accessibility category is also not a substitute for a full human accessibility examination.
In our analysis, a Google service error or limit is marked as a missing result. You can then use PageSpeed Insights directly or try again later. We do not present demo numbers as a result of the given domain.
